Sticks & Doodles is a family-run Saskatchewan workshop whose artists and makers have handcrafted over 100,000 pieces. From smooth, sanded wood to carefully painted finishes and tiny details assembled by hand, their care shows in the gift you give.
Sometimes a cardinal makes you stop.
You notice that flash of red outside the window, and someone comes to mind. For a moment, you remember their voice, something they used to say, or how much you wish you could tell them about your day.
This open heart-shaped ornament features a red cardinal resting on a leafy branch beneath the words “I’ll always be with you.” Handcrafted in our Saskatchewan shop.
A place on the tree for the person you carry with you.

The Sticks & Doodles Story
It all started in a basement.
In 2019, we started in a Regina basement with a couple of tools, a lot of grit, and a passion for making people smile. Five years later, with the support of our incredible team, community, and customers, we’ve grown from that tiny basement to a flagship studio and store in East Regina, Saskatchewan. While much has changed, our heart remains the same—celebrating stories, connections, and the moments that make life special. Thank you for supporting our dream. – Kyle & Danelle, Co-Founders
