Sticks & Doodles is a family-run Saskatchewan workshop whose artists and makers have handcrafted over 100,000 pieces. From smooth, sanded wood to carefully painted finishes and tiny details assembled by hand, their care shows in the gift you give.
The boxes can wait. The tree is going up.
You’re still learning which switch does what and where everything belongs. Then the Christmas lights go on, and the new place starts feeling a little more like yours.
This scalloped ornament features a black house with a little heart and a bright red bow. Designs include “Our First Home,” “First Christmas in Our New Home,” and “Our New Home,” with personalized family-name or address versions shown with the year. Handcrafted in our Saskatchewan shop.
Years from now, you’ll still remember that first Christmas here.

The Sticks & Doodles Story
It all started in a basement.
In 2019, we started in a Regina basement with a couple of tools, a lot of grit, and a passion for making people smile. Five years later, with the support of our incredible team, community, and customers, we’ve grown from that tiny basement to a flagship studio and store in East Regina, Saskatchewan. While much has changed, our heart remains the same—celebrating stories, connections, and the moments that make life special. Thank you for supporting our dream. – Kyle & Danelle, Co-Founders
