Sticks & Doodles is a family-run Saskatchewan workshop whose artists and makers have handcrafted over 100,000 pieces. From smooth, sanded wood to carefully painted finishes and tiny details assembled by hand, their care shows in the gift you give.
“You have to hear this one.”
The sleeve comes out, the needle goes down, and suddenly they’re telling you where they first heard that album. Some records come with a whole chapter of their life.
This layered wood ornament recreates a record player with a black record, white centre label and raised tonearm on a brown base. Handcrafted in our Saskatchewan shop.
Best hung with a favourite album playing.

The Sticks & Doodles Story
It all started in a basement.
In 2019, we started in a Regina basement with a couple of tools, a lot of grit, and a passion for making people smile. Five years later, with the support of our incredible team, community, and customers, we’ve grown from that tiny basement to a flagship studio and store in East Regina, Saskatchewan. While much has changed, our heart remains the same—celebrating stories, connections, and the moments that make life special. Thank you for supporting our dream. – Kyle & Danelle, Co-Founders
