Sticks & Doodles is a family-run Saskatchewan workshop whose artists and makers have handcrafted over 100,000 pieces. From smooth, sanded wood to carefully painted finishes and tiny details assembled by hand, their care shows in the gift you give.
Retirement is the one goodbye people actually throw a party for. After years of early alarms, deadlines, and meetings, it is finally their turn.
This 4-inch Retired Definition Ornament is engraved with a definition every retiree can get behind: enjoying life, travelling, and “not my problem anymore.” A raised white rocking chair adds dimension, and it hangs from a white ribbon. Handcrafted in our Saskatchewan shop, it is a funny retirement gift for a coworker, friend, boss, teacher, or family member.
They earned the view.

The Sticks & Doodles Story
It all started in a basement.
In 2019, we started in a Regina basement with a couple of tools, a lot of grit, and a passion for making people smile. Five years later, with the support of our incredible team, community, and customers, we’ve grown from that tiny basement to a flagship studio and store in East Regina, Saskatchewan. While much has changed, our heart remains the same—celebrating stories, connections, and the moments that make life special. Thank you for supporting our dream. – Kyle & Danelle, Co-Founders
