Sticks & Doodles is a family-run Saskatchewan workshop whose artists and makers have handcrafted over 100,000 pieces. From smooth, sanded wood to carefully painted finishes and tiny details assembled by hand, their care shows in the gift you give.
“Feel how squishy this one is!”
They hand you another one to squeeze, explain exactly how it’s different, and tell you which one’s next on the wish list. There’s a collection in their room and usually one coming along for the car ride.
This layered wood ornament spells out 2026 in pastel colours, with a smiling character as the zero and “the year of the squishies” engraved underneath. Handcrafted in our Saskatchewan shop.
A little reminder of their very squishy 2026.

The Sticks & Doodles Story
It all started in a basement.
In 2019, we started in a Regina basement with a couple of tools, a lot of grit, and a passion for making people smile. Five years later, with the support of our incredible team, community, and customers, we’ve grown from that tiny basement to a flagship studio and store in East Regina, Saskatchewan. While much has changed, our heart remains the same—celebrating stories, connections, and the moments that make life special. Thank you for supporting our dream. – Kyle & Danelle, Co-Founders
